Overview

Join our creative writing workshop in Berlin

Do you make sense of the world through words? Our creative writing workshop will help you meet kindred spirits in a welcoming space open to all curious writers.

Our ForEveryone creative writing club uses gentle prompts from an experienced instructor to inspire reflection, self-expression and connection. We hold guided writing sessions every Sunday at the cosy No.52 Cafe in Boxhagener Platz, designed for all skill levels and writing styles. Join us to turn emotions into words and find a meaningful outlet for heart and mind.

How it works

Our Berlin creative writing workshop meets you where you are, no matter how much writing expertise you have. Our workshop leader Swathi – herself a published author – offers guided prompts and creative exercises that will help you understand the writing style that fits your unique perspective.

Typically, sessions will start with a self-reflection piece, followed by creative writing exercises. This means you will get both quiet time to write and group time to discuss and connect. It’s a chance to grow individually whilst also making new friends who share your love of words.

Who can attend?

Our creative writing club is open to anyone who wants to see what they can discover about themselves and the world through writing. All experience levels and skill levels are invited, and we prioritise inclusivity: people from all backgrounds are welcome to come as they are.

We can create space for non-fiction and creative writers, as well as those who are simply curious about where writing can take them. No matter what your preferred writing style is, our workshop is an ideal place to learn, connect, and grow in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

Where to find us

We meet for our creative writing sessions every Saturday lunchtime from 11:30 to 1:30 pm. You can find us at the No. 52 Cafe. It’s located inside the Karuna Pavilion in Boxhagener Platz at the corner of Grünberger Str. and Gärtnerstraße.

There is usually a Sunday market happening around the cafe, so it can sometimes be hard to spot us, but don’t worry, we’re open as usual. Just look between the stalls to find us, or keep an eye out for our chalkboard.

What to bring

When you attend the ForEveryone creative writing workshop, all you need to bring is yourself and your creative spirit! All writing materials are supplied, although you are of course welcome to bring your favourite pen or journal.

The benefits of creative writing
